We offer various horse-riding lessons to suit all skill levels:

 

  • Beginner Course – Intro: for riders who are total beginners with little or no previous experience. 
  • Beginner Course – Plus: the continuation course for Beginners Riders to help them improve their balance, confidence and skills. 
  • Group Lessons: mixed sessions with both male and female in group sizes of a maximum of five (5) riders. 
  • Private Lessons: personalised coaching tailored to your specific needs and skill level. 
  • Semi-Private Lessons: small group sessions (2 -3 riders) with more individual attention. 

Children aged 4 – 5 years old can join our Pony Rides and Pony Pals sessions. More structured riding lessons starts at age 6.

Group lessons which include the beginner courses, are held in the afternoons between 4pm and 8pm on weekdays and Sundays. 

 

Group lessons are available from 1st October to 31st May, while private and semi-private lessons are offered all year-round. An indoor air-conditioned arena is available during summer months. 


Private lessons are available between 6:30am to 10am, and 4pm to 8pm weekdays and Sundays. 

We are closed on Saturdays to allow the horses a rest day. 

Private lessons are subject to availability and may not always be offered during peak hours.

  • Group Lessons:  a maximum of five (5) riders per session with one instructor. 
  • Semi-Private Lessons: these sessions are designed for 2-3 riders per session with one instructor.
  • Private Lessons: these lessons are 1-on-1 sessions with a rider and instructor.

The duration of each lesson is 45 minutes.

Riders should wear long comfortable leggings or jodhpurs, closed-toed shoes or riding boots, and appropriate sun protectionBaggy, loose clothing and excessive jewellery is unsafe for horse riding. 

Riders should be at the Riding School reception 10 minutes before the lesson start time to check-in and have their riding hat and body protector fitted and checked in good time. We also encourage riders to collect their horses from their stables to establish a connection.  

 

Please note that riders who are 15 minutes or more late for a lesson may be declined entry into the lesson. 

All riders are required to wear a safety hat during lessons, which is up to current safety standards.

 

For Beginners, these are provided by the Riding School. Body protectors are not mandatory but encouraged, however they are not provided by the Riding School. If a rider wishes to have a body protector, they must provide their own.  

 

All our coaches are BHS qualified and receive continuous professional development in horsemanship. Additionally, many of our coaches compete regularly in dressage and show jumping.

Light snacks and drinks can be purchased from Creatures of Habit (COH), our on-site cafe.

 

While we have water for sale at the Riding School, we encourage riders to reduce single-use plastic and bring their own refillable water bottle. We have plenty of water stations all around the riding school, for horses and humans! Hydration is very important

Yes, we continue with private and semi-private lessons in our air-conditioned indoor arena.

 

Group lessons are not available during the summer months.
