Originally from Ireland, Orla began riding at age four and went on to compete in Pony Club events, which led her to compete nationally in Eventing and Showing.

After completing her Veterinary Degree in 2015, she moved to the UK to focus exclusively on treating horses. She has since worked in private practices, including the Royal Veterinary College in London both practicing and teaching veterinary students.

With over a decade of experience treating diverse equine cases, from riding school and film-set horses to international competition horses, Dr Orla also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, specialising in lameness and diagnostic imaging from the University of Liverpool.
