In celebration of our partnership with ADNOC, Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club is proud to open our gates exclusively to children of ADNOC employees with specially reserved Pony Camps.
As a valued ADNOC partner, Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club is delighted to offer this exclusive benefit to ADNOC employees only.
Three 1-Day Pony Camps will run across 2026 and 2027, each reserved solely for ADNOC families and capped at just 16 participants to ensure every child receives genuine one-to-one attention from our BHS-approved coaches.
This isn’t a public camp booking. It’s a dedicated experience, created specifically for the ADNOC community, and places are limited.
What you can expect with ADNOC exclusive Pony Camps
- A private experience. No public bookings, no crowds. This camp is reserved exclusively for the ADNOC community.
- Expert, attentive coaching. BHS-approved coaches, with a low rider-to-instructor ratio so every child gets real hands-on time.
- A full morning of discovery. Mounted riding sessions, hands-on stable management, and a themed arts and crafts activity, all in one 4-hour session.
- Comfort, whatever the weather. Every activity is held in our climate-controlled indoor arena, so summer heat or winter chill won’t affect the experience.
- No experience needed. Perfect for first-time riders as well as those who’ve been in the saddle before.

Pony Camp is perfect for children with little or no riding experience!
Pony Camp start time is 8:30am, and we can accommodate drop-offs from 8:25am.
Each camp runs for approximately 4 hours.
Pony Camps are held outdoors when the weather permits it.
In general, Pony Camps are held indoor during summertime and outdoors for all other times.
Pony Camp is made up of three main components:
1. Riding
Daily mounted sessions tailored to each child’s ability.
2. Stable Management
Hands-on learning about pony care and handling.
3. Arts & Crafts or Fun Activity
Creative or interactive sessions (weather permitting)
We provide riding helmets for all participants. If your child has their own riding helmet, they are welcome to bring it along.
Clothing:
✅ Children should wear trainers or any closed-toe shoes.
🚫 No crocs or slippers as they are not safe around horses.
✅ Long trousers are required. For example, leggings or jogging pants.
⚠️ Jeans are okay as long as they are loose-fitting and not restrictive.
Our Pony Camp activities are specifically designed for children aged between 6 and 12 years old. We aim to keep all activities age-appropriate and enjoyable for the children attending.
For this reason, children younger than 6 or older than 12 may not fully benefit from the experience.
Additionally, children must be able to follow instructions independently while on the horse, as we do not provide side-walkers during riding sessions. Our priority is the safety and well-being of each child, and we kindly recommend registering only if your child meets these age and independence guidelines.
We currently do not offer transportation for your child to and from camp.
Absolutely! We are committed to inclusivity and would love to welcome children of determination to Pony Camp.
However, to ensure the experience is enjoyable and suitable for your child, we highly recommend speaking with our Pony Camp Manager before registering.
The camp environment can be busy and stimulating, and our team is happy to guide you on whether this is the right setting for your child.

Yes, we occasionally host girls-only pony camps.
These are not part of our regular schedule, but we encourage you to follow us on social media to stay updated on upcoming dates and announcements.
Please note that while other participants will be girls, we are unable to offer camps without male Grooms and/or Coaches.
Parents or nannies can stay to observe the Pony Camp sessions, however, we don’t actively encourage this as it can be a distraction for our young riders who are learning to build independence and focus during their sessions.
We’d also love for parents to use this time as a chance to relax and enjoy a well-deserved break – perhaps with a coffee from our on-site COH Café while the kids are having fun at camp!
While we understand how special these moments are, our instructors will be fully focused on conducting the lessons and ensuring the safety of all riders.
However, you have the option to purchase a souvenir photo of your child, taken during Pony Camp, for AED 30.
Payment for souvenir photos is required pre-camp so that our team can organise a photographer.
The pony camp takes place at the spectator viewing area of the indoor arena at Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club.
- Enter through Gate 2.
- Please park near the City Golf Club parking area.
- Follow signs to the spectator viewing area of the indoor arena.
No. Participants should bring their own snacks and drinks if desired.
Maximum of 6 riders per instructor to ensure personalized attention and safety.
Most activities are conducted in the club’s air-conditioned indoor arena or air-conditioned stable facilities, allowing camps to continue comfortably during extreme heat or adverse weather conditions.
